CARLOS GONZÁLEZ MANJARREZ / M.A., Ph.D.

Graduated in Graphic Design, graduated with honors in the Master's Degree in Advertising with Research: In search of the Identity of Mexican Graphic Design and Diploma in Animation and Character Creation. Diploma in Web Design. Diploma in Microsoft Teams. Diploma in Teaching. Diploma in Identity, culture and criticism. Phd student in Education with line of investigation: eSports as space for social and educational interaction for preventing job rotation.
His professional experience is related to the Art Direction in Advertising Agencies such as Alazraki and Publicis México with Creative Direction from brands: Telmex, Banamex, Parmalat, Sección Amarilla, Sanborns, Grupo Modelo, Corfuerte, Astra Zeneca and Allied Domecq among others.
Professor in 20 University for several subjects such as Corporate Identity, Editorial design, Poster Design, Interactive Design, hypermedia, Web Design, 2D animation, Illustration, Character Design, Digital Marketing, Studio Photography, Typography, Advertising, Creativity, Semiotics and Methodology of investigation. He has directed the career of design and visual communication and created programs for diplomas in photography, character design and a new Bachelor of Production program in Animation and VFX with 3 specialties in Animation, special effects and digital media.
He has won in Japan in the Visual Design category at the Nagoya Design Do! Contest. In the XII Quorum Prize he won Gold in the Poster Category, he has been Selected 6 times in the International Poster Biennial of Mexico, finalist in the Slovakia Triennial 2018 and finalist in the Beijing Opera Art Poster Biennial in 2022.
He has given Conferences and Workshops at National and International Level. They have invited him to be a Jury for various contests such as the 14th Poster Biennial in Mexico, Taiwan International Student Design Competition 2022, CIDEA 2022 Australia, Poster Stellars 2002, New Jersey, U.S.A. His work has been exhibited collectively and individually in 30 countries.
Its design has been published in various Design Books, Conferences and Magazines in Mexico and abroad.
He coordinated the exhibition Mexico and Japan, United for children against HIV, Posters for Peace between Mexico, Iran, the United States and several countries. In Querétaro he has organized several Design Congresses and in 2012 the World Design Congress of the Mexico Poster Biennial and Illusion posters: Denmark and Mexico (2022). He currently coordinates Poster Stellars 2023 for Mexico and Posters of the Pekin Opera in Mexico in 2023.
